This artwork serves as a love letter to all things 60s, a decade full of love, passion, and experimentation in art, music, and fashion. This also serves as a commentary on how we are practically engulfed by the need and desire for material goods. Rather than putting our time and resources into taking care of ourselves, we put all of that energy into our material wants and needs. The cacophony of fabrics, patterns, and textures practically envelop these characters, who are also clad in intricate fashion pieces. Perhaps if our efforts and resources went into looking out for one another instead, we would be able to be our truest selves and reach our fullest potential while also being able to take care of each other.
