Artist Statement

When I first got the request to draw this, it was from a family friend whose dog had passed away. When I drew it, I took my time to try and catch every detail of the image. I drew him over the rainbow bridge due to his passing.

I am a 14 year old colored pencil artist. I have been doing art all of my life, and have also entered this competition before, winning second place. I used to draw pet portraits for people and I’m practice realism.
