Artist Statement

I've loved taking photographs of animals and nature my whole life. When I saw this tiger roaring at a zoo, I saw it as a perfect opportunity to capture it's beauty and show it to everyone. Tigers and other big mammals might not be here in the future so taking photographs like this gives me a chance to show future generations the beautiful animals we used to have.

My name is Cameron Garcia. I am 16 years old and a junior in high school. I have been taking photography classes since I was a freshman. Outside of school, I have a job and I am a competitive male gymnast. In my free time, I love taking pictures. Last year, I bought a DSLR camera and I have taken it everywhere since. My favorite things to photograph are animals and landscapes.
