Since the first time I tried white charcoal, it seemed hard to control and the idea of doing the opposite of a graphite drawing gave me some trouble. With this piece, I decided that if I wanted to get better at using charcoal I would have to push myself to the limit, and this time I decided to focus on the highlights and shadows and an overall view. This piece was challenging due to the great quantity of items in it, for which I struggled to make everything coexist peacefully. The details and the difference in value of the different objects were the hardest part, because many objects had a similar tone of white when changed from color to black and white.
