Hi, my name is Hayden Hasbrook and this is a portrait of my dog Nova she is a Labrador Retriever and is about to turn 3 years old in March. This piece of art was created using colored pencils and a small amount of graphite. I decided to draw this piece of art because you may be able to take pictures of your loved ones or your pets, but sometimes a drawing is more sentimental and it might be a Christmas portrait, but it still is my dog. Well about 2 years ago my mom was at the dry cleaners because we just had bought a house about half a week ago and there was an older lady that bought a Labrador retriever puppy boy he was Brown for $100 off of this elderly lady my mom would have said yes if the dogs were for free but they weren't but Nova what did end up being the last puppy and the elderly lady just wanted to go home so my mom came home with the puppy that was supposed to be $100 but was free I guess you can say it was some sort of miracle.
