This is, simply put, just an art class project. However, it was quite challenging. I was told to pick one of several objects, of which we would create two pieces accompanied with many limitations. I chose the push-button telephone. So, for the first piece, I stuck with a simple rendition of the parts and pieces, per the limitations of the project. For the second, however, knowing I only had seven days until the due date, I made the rash decision to try oil for the first time. Though forcing myself into a very stressful week, I took advantage of the creative freedom we were given for this last piece. I decided to convey the purpose and joys that came from this invention, and created an original scene; just a man enjoying his morning, with his paper and friend in hand.
