My painting, Searching, is meant to convey the feeling of being lost and or uncertain about where you are or want to be in life. Due to societal standards, women are expected to go to college, earn a degree, have a stable career, and on top of that, marry and have children all before their late 20's. I did this piece to hopefully let others know it's okay to not have your life completely planned and set out by a certain point in time. I like to believe life should always be about discovery and change, instead of a planned out checklist.
