We had to create our version of a "Wild Thing" inspired by the book "Where The Wild Things Are". The drawing of the Wild Thing was completed in color pencil. My wild thing is mischievous, so I wanted it to look like he was caught in the act of misbehaving. Then we used details from the book to create a collaged background. My favorite part of the project was stitching the stars and grass.
