This painting reflects the triumph I feel when I improve my skills in creation and art as a whole. The pride and sense of accomplishment I feel when I find myself better understanding myself and my capabilities, in my opinion, is best expressed through me, the subject of the artwork, reaching through the mainly gray tones of a sheet metal wall and "breaking through" to reveal more a vibrant scale of hues, and thus my progress.
