On this painting I wanted to challenge myself, and used color. I usually prefer to work with black and white. On my painting I tried to captured a girl imagining the night sky to escape life's troubles, and finding calm and tranquility. The girl resembles me physically, but also in the way that when I dell with life's troubles I also try to imagine the calming night sky up high where the birds rest peacefully. My hope is that when people see my painting they will find peace and escape life's troubles as well. The flowers around her also represent me because I love flowers.
