"Triple Tranquility" takes winsome advantage of complimentary colors. The bold and brilliant contrast, shaped by pinks and greens, heightens the sense of drama and captured me to paint it in the first place. From the variation in hues to the sense of texture this painting invites viewers into peacefulness. Waterlilies naturally evoke a spirit of delicacy and tranquility. Mine are no exception. My first big painting, this project pushed me farther than I ever thought or dared to go. Through this painting I learned so much about oil techniques, color mixing, and how to fuel a passion for excellence in myself. I have fallen in love with the subject all over again and hope to likewise inspire viewers.
