For my artwork, I painted a beach scene. I used a mixture of acrylic paint and sand to get dimension on the waves and sand. My inspiration came from the waves and seashore of the Outerbanks. The waves are always big and rough but pretty to watch. My goal of this painting was to capture all of the different shades of blue that you can see when you walk along the shore.
