Verde Vasilevski

My name is Verde Vasilevski, and I go to Charleston County School of the Arts. I am in 8th grade. I have always been the artist of my family, but getting caught in-between family, friends, sports, and school, I had trouble finding a time where I could make art freely and progress my skills. When I heard about School of the Arts, I knew I had to apply to explore my enjoyment of art further. After I got in, I saw my progression and style flourish-I had found the joy of art again. I enjoy expressing my emotions through art. Whether the feelings are simple or complex, I try to incorporate a mood and sense of that feeling into each piece I make. Outside of art, I am very athletic and love doing things with my family and friends. I do cross country and track now, but I have done almost every sport at some point. As for my family and friends, I love spending time with them. Whether I am doing puzzles, playing games, or even just talking with them, I always feel at home. But when I am alone after a long day, nothing beats listening to my favorite music and letting my imagination run free.
