My name is Ceren, and I am 16 years old. I'm originally from Turkey, and can speak more than three languages. I have been in America for three years now. I love reading, drawing, and anything with crafts. While growing up, my parents moved often, visiting places people only might dream to visit. However I had always felt senseless because everybody around me had a place related identity and a way to describe themselves. But because I personally never stayed at one place for long, it held me back from searching for something I truly identify with. It was hard on me, but thankfully my mother always encouraged me to see the beauty in the different places and to do something creative with it. Of course, she wouldn't have thought that her advice would have led her to create a monster who's obsession is art, but thankfully in the end everything worked out. Now I can confidently introduce myself to people. Thanks to art and my mom, I feel like I belong to a wonderful community.
