My artwork is a mixed media piece of a rooster made by gluing beans onto cardboard. I chose to make a rooster because I have chickens and roosters as pets, and they are a part of my everyday life. I enjoy watching them and wanted to create art inspired by something I care about. I used beans because I got the idea from my grandma who did something like this a few years ago. The beans remind me of life on a farm. I carefully placed to show the shape, feathers, and personality of the rooster. This artwork shows my love for animals and how ordinary materials can be turned into art.
