This piece is about the killing and taking of tangible objects and intangible cultures. All throughout history, people have stolen things. Things like culture, religion, land, people, and art. Anything made by a group of "inferior" people will always be taken and watered down. If it does not fit the 'superior' group's standards, they will demonize it and kill it. My work draws on my hatred of that system. I dislike how some people and cultures will take and give nothing back. This work is inspired by Pablo Picasso's "Guernica." I find interest in pieces that have very complex compositions. I took a lot of inspiration from his more abstract way of portraying people.
