This oil painting shows my little sister and me, side by side, showing our different qualities. I wanted to paint us this close, because that's how I feel about her. She's one of the people I care about the most, and I'd do anything for her. While I was painting, I focused on our eyes because they're the part of us that feels the most honest. Even with all our differences, we're connected in a way that's hard to explain. In this artwork, I tried to show that love doesn't need us to look the same. It's about how she has shaped me, and how being her big sister is one of the biggest parts of who I am.
