I created this artwork by pouring acrylic paint onto a canvas. I used different shades of blue, including glitter paint, and a lime green color. I was inspired by marble paintings because I like how the paint moves and mixes by itself. When I looked at my painting, it reminded me of the ocean. After the paint dried, I added three fish. I used white paint because it makes the fish pop, just like my teacher said. I wanted the fish to be the main part of my artwork. The fish look similar, but they are also different, like real fish swimming in the water. I like art that shows movement, and this painting feels like the fish are moving through the ocean.
