Elaine Tanner, an avid quilter for most of her life, produces award winning traditional and art quilts. About ten years ago she was introduced to pine straw baskets and was quickly addicted. She uses a needle, heavy thread or sinew, and long needle pine straw from her yard to create baskets that are decorative as well as useful. She exhibits her work in the Greater Lake City Artist Guild shows and is a member of the Studio Art Quilt Associates. Her artwork was chosen to compete in Artfields 2013.
Ann Page has explored different mediums ranging from charcoal pencils, oil, and acrylics, to watercolors. She endeavors to create her creatures as life-like as possible, expressing the natural beauty and grace of each. Ann decided to incorporate beautiful wood into her art and uses pyrography (wood burning) to create artistic images and this has become her focus. Ann is a member of the Greater Lake City Artist Guild and has a Fine Arts degree from the College of Charleston.
