My love of colorful fabrics and threads began as a child…… watching and learning from my mother who patiently taught me to use a needle and thread and a sewing machine.



I have designed and created clothing, wedding gowns, art dolls, fabric sculptures, home décor, and art quilts, but my greatest passion is creating thread paintings and fabric collages from inspirational photos that seem to speak or tell a story. The sewing machine needle becomes my paint brush and after many hours and many threads, the finished pieces almost become realistic paintings on fabric. I like to describes the process as a kind of therapy that is challenging but rewarding!



I have exhibited my fabric art at various galleries through out the country and have won numerous awards. I also enjoy creating commission pieces for private homes and businesses.
