Mitchell Long is an artist from New Orleans. He works as an adjunct instructor at Southeastern University Hammond Louisiana. Mr Long received his MFA from LSU in 1998. He had work in the "Louisiana Contemporary" at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art" and "Now for something new"at Lemieux Gallery New Orleans in the Fall of 2022. Mitchell recieived the Joan Mitchell Grant in 2006, a Pollock Krasner grant in 2006, and a George & Hellen Segal Grant in 2005.
