Robert Bean

Robert Bean is a professional artist and arts educator. Shortly after graduating with an MFA from Louisiana State University, he moved to Huntsville, Alabama where he teaches art classes on the college level. His primary medium is oil painting, working in an observational style to create commissioned portraits, landscapes, still lives and unique narrative paintings. Along with his studio work and teaching, Bean also creates large scale murals. His most recent mural was commissioned by the College of Science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Other past high-profile mural commissions include Google Fiber and The Hilton Curio. His artwork is exhibited in numerous private collections and included in the permanent collection of the Huntsville Museum of Art and Mississippi State University.
