Caroline Myers

Caroline Myers is a contemporary figurative painter based in Birmingham, Alabama. Myers received her BFA from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2021, and in Spring 2023, she received her MFA degree from Clemson University. Caroline has been recognized, awarded, and published regionally as well as nationally. She was one of forty finalists accepted into the 2021 AXA Art Prize, one of the nation's top figurative art competitions for undergraduate and graduate students. Her piece "Pandemic Summer" was awarded Best in Show in the 2022 Artisphere Artists of the Upstate Juried Art Competition, and in 2023, her painting "CMYK" took home the Award of Excellence. In 2023, Caroline presented her solo show, Temporal Reality, at Spring Hill College in her hometown of Mobile, Alabama. Myers is currently working in Birmingham as an adjunct professor at her alma mater while maintaining her research and delving deeper into her studio practice.
