Artist Statement

I chose to paint an American Flag because I wanted to paint something special for my grandma. My grandma loves our country. Her whole house is decorated in red, white, and blue. I took the picture at Myrtle Beach one day last summer. There was a nice breeze, and it looked like a nice perspective to paint. When I gave it to my grandma she was so excited. I hope you like my painting as much as she did.
