When working on "As My Creativity Flows,” I wanted to capture the emotion and feelings of working on my art. I asked myself: How can I capture the feeling of being engulfed in the blissfulness of my creative mind? When nothing else matters but the art? I wanted to show how my imagination takes over my mind and becomes my surroundings and I am only focused on the art taking place in front of me. I painted a portrait of myself drawing in the foreground of the piece. The background represents my creative mind flowing. The subjects in the background are items close to me and my life. Examples of this include: the guitar and music notes which represent my love for music, the planets and stars show my long lasting interest in outer space, the baseball and football to signify my active lifestyle, and the animals and plants to show my care for the environment.
