Artist Statement

No animal deserves to be "behind bars" as the artwork portrays. I believe all animals deserve a good home. I chose a pit-bull for their bad rep. Everyone thinks they are mean, but they are the sweetest dogs ever! They are only mean when we make them mean. If you search pit-bull on google the first things you get are muzzles! I believe no animal is mean and we should not be cruel to them.

I am a 6th grade student from Southside Middle School and I've always loved art from a young age. I love drawing, guitar, and animals and love to express myself through creating. My family inspires me to do the things that I love in life.
