I chose this duck because I thought the face looked very cheerful, and I was drawn to his striking blue beak. My favorite part was painting the red feathers along his back. The warm color gave a nice contrast, and the technique was something I’ve never done before. I enjoyed painting all the different kinds of feathers that brought the duck together. Overall this was a very exciting duck and the most cheerful duck I’ve ever painted.
