Advertising and album covers have come a long way in the last 40 years. For this piece I’ve decided to take both forms of art and go back to the roots of their design. Not in the United States, but in Japanese culture. The colors represent the simplicity and vivid style explored in the 1990s while contrasting with the elegant and complex form of the human body. The posing and elements are put in place to capture a parade of emotion while standing in stasis.
