My piece is called "Past of Trees,” from my theme, "Telling a Story.” This piece inspired me with people's pasts and how they try to change it to create a new future. In this piece, the girl that is laying down with no mouth symbolizes that she has no say in the future that she is trying to seek. The trees represent the past in how it is never going to change and will always be there forever. The details in the trees highlight the past of which leads to more details. The ghosts that are hovering over the girl are the hauntings of the past meaning that you can run from it. It also symbolizes your destiny.
