Inspired by the impact of eating disorders, I chose to portray the heaviness and distant feeling that can accompany it. After starting with gestures to capture perspectives, colors, and overall mood, I chose to digitally create this piece. Beginning with perspective, I digitally painted colors to embody the desired overall mood. Vibrant and saturated colors paired with the tilted perspective create a space for the ragged and rough figures to depict the heaviness of their experience. The level of saturation can be viewed as both vivid and jarring, while the figures range in transparency to signify the person's connection to it.
