The name of my art piece is "Sauber" which means "clean" in German. My initial motivation for this art piece came from the Bible verse, Psalm 51:2 which says, "Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin." I know this art piece doesn't show God washing our sins away from our bodies but that is what comes to my mind when thinking about this art piece. There are also other ways you could look at this though. You could also see it as during the Covid-19 pandemic and washing or cleaning your hands to stay safe from the virus. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I did while drawing it.
