As a child, the world that I inhabited was created by my own imagination. I would hide away in my room for hours as I created cities out of toy houses and filled them with tiny dolls that housed big stories. My thoughts were like flowers that spread and bloomed all across the floor of my play areas. It was my own personal world where I could be the ruler, the queen, the one in control. Whatever else was going on around me didn't matter because I knew my toy kingdom was waiting for me when I got home. I crave going back to those simpler times where I could just sit in my room and create.
