Athena Matyas

My name is Athena Matyas and I am currently a senior at AAST. I have been doing watercolor paintings since I was 15 and have been primarily focusing on portraiture since I was 16. I usually add nature or symbolic imagery in my pieces to give them a more interesting view. I am currently enrolled in the Savannah College of Art and Design and will be attending this fall. My plans for the future involve going to SCAD for a degree in Art History and either working in a museum or becoming an Art History professor. Art has been something that I have been passionate about since I was a little kid. I have always wanted to do something in the art field and find it to be a passion of mine.
