My fascination with architecture shone through in The Dress House. With the objective of combining a house and a ball gown out of clay, I implemented appropriately ornate residential elements such as embellished windows and doors to the basic structure of a stylish gown. The chimney was carefully tucked inside the strap of the dress and the blue and gold glazes were chosen to further empasize the elegant nature of a ball gown.
