Throughout three generations, the beach house depicted in this painting has belonged to my family. My grandmother visited it as a child during the 1950s, and my mother visited it throughout her youth as well. We have continued the tradition, and I visit it every summer. So many delightful memories have been created in this beautiful and homey house overlooking the ocean. In the background of the painting is the Wright Brothers Monument, which we visit on family walks or bike rides to view glorious sunrises or sunsets every time we vacation at "Wright on the Seascape."
