Artist Statement

This artwork was from a painting lesson given by my art instructor, Mr. Clarence DuBose, II. We were learning how to blend and mix colors using my art teacher's painting as a reference. He taught us to develop a painting from start to finish by creating the background and creating painting layers.

I'm currently in the sixth grade at Spaulding Middle School. I love to paint because it's a passion of mine. When I graduate from high school, I plan to be a nurse.
