After a long sunny day at the beach, I stumbled upon these birds chirping on the wire. All day, my family and I had been surrounded by birds, but this was the first time I had taken the time to stop and appreciate them and their adaptions with human life. I knew that I had to capture them in this moment, and they ended up being my favorite part of the day. I love how the colors of the sky seem to melt into another, and how the birds are both looking down at my family and I. This photo encapsulates the effortless natural beauty of wildlife that is often overlooked in the rush of life, and helps one to understand the importance of stopping to look at what is right in front of us.
