The young whale swam along in the vast ocean, separated from any form of family, any form of comfort. It grew hungry as it swam, there was very little food around, so, the whale decided to dive down to the deep, just like its mother had several times before she disappeared. It didn't know quite what it was looking for, just something to eat. It swam down, searching for this possible source of food. Eventually, it came across the giant eye of a squid. The whale then moved forward as fast as it could, opening its mouth wide enough to take a bite. It did not let the whale get this chance though, and gripped its suction cups to the side of the whale, entangling it in its arms. The whale felt itself losing its breath, unable to hold onto the little oxygen it had left. It fought against the squid, crying out through loud clicks, but it was overpowered by its grip and felt limp. Its body sank down to the seafloor, where it will create a brand new ecosystem for a variety of deep-sea organisms.
