At the end of last year, I drew a picture of broken glass for a school project, but it didn't actually look like broken glass. I thought it looked more abstract and loose than straight lines like everyone else around me. I decided I liked that look so much more than what I was supposed to be drawing, so I went on with it. When I finished the drawing, it looked so cool, and I began to shade it and it really popped out of the paper. I was very impressed with what I saw. A few weeks later I drew another picture, but it was even more abstract. This time it was with color. It was reds, yellows, and oranges. I loved that color combination because it brought the painting to life. When I got the opportunity for this art competition, I thought to myself, why don't I combine my two favorite pieces and make one amazing, colorful, abstract piece of art work? So I did just that, and this is what I came up with. Thank you.
