In this piece, each depiction shown is an emotion I feel, or have felt, and my interpretation of how they would look physically. Some reflect specific experiences; others are points in time. I used several different components and materials to emphasize these instances. Some experiences can wash from your mind as easily as a hand brushes chalk, some are more everlasting and engraved similar to acrylic on canvas. Other times they’re stubborn and will not rid your memory just as oil pastel strongly bonds to paper. Ultimately, the combination of mix media materials achieved the emotion I was striving to capture. The vibrant faces and sub-images aim to capture my audience's attention and allow them to perceive my personal outlook on the subject.
