This is a self-portrait that was painted from a photograph of myself. This is the first time that I have created a painting of myself. It was fascinating to look at a picture of “Me” and examine the texture of my hair, the shape of my eyebrows, and the shade of my skin. In a world where photographs are often edited and presented as a false picture, I enjoyed creating a realistic picture of who I am. I am proud of who I am and grateful for the chance to share this.
