Artist Statement

I was inspired to create my composition from a picture of me and my best friend, my sister. I wanted my piece to be colorful, fun and expressive. I tried going into it without looking for perfection. Overall, I achieved exactly what I was aiming for–– a vibrant example of mine and my sister's friendship!

I'm a 7th grader at Dawkins Middle School. My favorite part of the day is my art class. I have been in the gifted art program in my district for 4 years. I also love running track for Dorman High School.
