I got my idea for this artwork from the trend of "the bows". When I got the chance to make this artwork, there was a trend going around of girls wearing bows and putting bows on everything. During this time, the quote "that's so coquette" was going around also, so if you had a bow on something, or if you were wearing a bow, someone would say anything along that saying. So in my opinion, I think this was my take on the trend, I thought it would just be a cute little vase to put in my room on my nightstand. This piece took a lot of work and a lot of time, I ended up working on it for 2 weeks. It also ended up being a lot bigger than I intentionally thought it to be, I really just went with the flow on it, but I ended up loving it.
