Ava Rodriguez

My name is Ava Rodriguez and I have always been a very involved person. I've played a wide variety of sports, played violin in orchestra, and been in a good amount of clubs. Throughout high school, I've stuck with cross country and track, and have been a part of Chinese Club, National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Key Club, and I also do Young Life with my school. I've done art my entire life and I've won many awards for it. At my elementary/middle school, I was in BETA Club, and was the first person at my school to win an award (4th grade - digital art). I was awarded a scholarship to go to the BETA Club national convention in Orlando, Florida that same year. Over the next few years, I continued placing at state conventions and was invited to a few national ones. In 5th grade, I placed 4th for sketching at the national convention in Savannah, Georgia. Since then, I have won an honorary mention and a 1st place ribbon at the state fair, and have gotten into ArtFields Jr. twice. I intend on applying to SCAD for college, and doing something with my art in the future.
