This piece was inspired by my love for doodling and drawing. I have loved doing these kinds of doodles ever since I was a little kid. I constantly hear, "Emerson, this is science class, not art class!" Or, "Stop drawing on that paper," but I just can't help it. Many of the characters depicted in this drawing came into existence by me asking my family members for two words, such as "googly pizza" and "Bible feet," and just like that, new fun and funky doodles are born. For this artwork, I used a mylar sheet and black Sharpie marker. I enjoyed the buttery smoothness of the mylar. It was fun to draw on. I hope the viewer takes time to closely observe my artwork. Some doodles are quite funny. My favorite is the spoon and the fork with the baby spork. Can you find them?
