I wanted to try paper as a new medium for my illustrations. I drew the bug designs in Procreate on my iPad and then converted them to vector artwork. I then cut the shapes with a digital paper cutter and assembled and glued them by hand. I very much like the organic shapes of the bugs and I thought they were a great subject to explore paper illustration.
