As years pass, the world is seen in new and different ways. As I grow older, I see myself in new and different ways. As confusing as the world gets, understanding myself has been the most confusing. Sunshine lights up my head, while shadows of fog advance into my brain. I wonder why. The constant confusion as to the reason behind my brain feeling so many different ways. As my eyes and mouth flower the beauty of my face, my dark, cave-like, mind overtakes every feeling. While parts of me are bright, most are dark. This piece shows how I am torn between the dark and light sides of my mind.
