I think that colored pencils are really my medium, and I really enjoyed making this piece. First, I took my picture of the candy. I used different candies, used different angles for the camera and the lighting, but I just picked the one I liked the most. Then I sketched out the picture, which was a little difficult, because I had the picture on my phone and needed to make it with the same proportions but bigger. And once I started drawing with the colors, it just came to me. I went from light to dark, I think the bright colors and the shading are the best parts, and I just enjoyed myself. I think it came out great, and I really love it.
