My name is Matthew Drake. I was born and raised in South Carolina and currently attend St. James High School. Expressing what's on my mind in my creations is new to me, weaving solid structure with fluid feelings is difficult, but pushing through this dilemma has been worthwhile. I enjoy mixing different medias together and experimenting to find what satisfies the sweet tooth in my eye with the intent to show my findings to others. None of my current work has a set-in-stone goal, they are all meant to be an outlet for expression left to be interpreted by the viewer. Seeing the improvements I've made over the years has been my primary motivation as well as the feedback from friends and family.
