Communities can be made up of many different people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures. However, some can often feel out of place without similarities and connections that others do. Whether it's having similar interests, experiences, or ethnicities, not being able to connect and relate with others can often have a negative impact on one's life. However, the differences you have from one group can also be the reason you relate to another group. Through all these differences, everyone is able to find a connection to one another, even when it doesn't seem that way. I displayed this idea simply through a basket of fruit. The basket shows an apple, lemon, and persimmon. All these fruits have different origins and purposes, but they all connect in some way. Their differences help create new and exciting tastes, flavors, and colors that help make life just a bit better. If these fruits, or people, were all the same, life wouldn't be as interesting and exciting.
